The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is set to be the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It is scheduled to take place in Basel , Switzerland, following the country's victory at the 2024 contest with the song " The Code " by Nemo .
Prior to the 2025 contest, Czech Television (ČT) had participated in the Eurovision Song Contest representing the Czech Republic, presented as Czechia since 2023, twelve times since its first entry in 2007. The competition will consist of four shows: two heats on 14 February 2025 and 15 February 2025, a semi-final on 22 February 2025 and a final on 1 March 2025. In each of the two heats, 12 of the 24 competing acts will compete. A maximum of 14 acts will be selected to proceed to the semi-final where nine acts will be selected to proceed to the final.
