The Bragg peak is a pronounced peak on the Bragg curve which plots the energy loss of ionizing radiation during its travel through matter. For protons , α-rays , and other ion rays , the peak occurs immediately before the particles come to rest.
Bragg curve of 5.49 MeV alpha particles in air. The force usually increases toward the end of range and reaches a maximum, the Bragg peak, shortly before the energy drops to zero. The curve that describes the force as function of the material depth is called the Bragg curve. This is of great practical importance for radiation therapy.
Hence the dose increases with increasing thickness up to the Bragg peak that occurs near the end of the particle's range. Beyond the Bragg peak, the dose drops to zero (for protons) or almost zero (for heavier ions). The advantage of this energy deposition profile is that less energy is deposited into the healthy tissue surrounding the target ...
The Bragg Peak description of radiotherapy depth dose curves really only applies to light ions (Protons up to Neon). I believe the Bragg Peak description is correct (I just tweaked it a bit). Deployment Image Service and Management Tool (DISM) is a tool introduced in Windows 7 [10] and Windows Server 2008 R2 [10] that can perform servicing tasks on a Windows installation image, be it an online image (i.e. the one the user is running) or an offline image within a folder or WIM file. Its features include mounting and unmounting images ...

ISO images can be created from optical discs by disk imaging software, or from a collection of files by optical disc authoring software, or from a different disk image file by means of conversion. Software distributed on bootable discs is often available for download in ISO image format; like any other ISO image, it may be written to an optical ...
