1. Once you create your new yahoo account, you'll get a page saying congratulations, the *old* (google or facebook) account is now linked with your flickr account. Don't worry, it's not. 2. The first time I logged into the flick account with my new yahoo account, I got directed to the same page used to create a new yahoo account.
Don't take the risk: make sure your Yahoo-account isn't de-activated. Posted ages ago. ( permalink) ColleenM says: BeeFortyTwo: without having an obligatory Yahoo-account.) You actually have a Yahoo! account if you created a new Flickr account with either Facebook or Google credentials.

I was wondering if it possible to recover all my old Yahoo Photos pictures? After losing a dear uncle, I remember I had a few pictures in my old Yahoo Photo album as well as former and late classmates. If there is a form I need to fill out, could someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks, Yahoo ID: lj_tcaz
Need your help to understand if there's any way to retrieve those photographs now after subscribing to a paid Flickr account. Any help or suggestions in this regard would be very helpful, as I lost some of those very old and precious photographs during a recent hard drive failure.

In the same boat at TruckPR. Even though are settings are at "anyone" - our "image audience" is still getting the request to sign in with yahoo account or create one. It used to not be this way. We need our images to be publically available without needing a yahoo account. Any other ideas on this issue? Posted 111 months ago. ( permalink)
I keep trying to link my existing yahoo account to my existing flickr page but I cannot. Yahoo or Flickr keeps creating new flickr accounts for me instead! And I am clicking the "I already have a Yahoo account" button, and it still creates a NEW Yahoo account. I called this one "yahoo you suck" just out of frustration. This is my 5th new account.
