Cedarburg is a town in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, United States, and is in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The town was created in 1849 and at the time of the 2020 census had a population of 6,162. German and Irish immigrants first settled in Cedarburg in the 1840s.
The museum opened up to the public on July 20, 2012 [6] with a Grand Opening on August 18–19, 2012. [7] In December 2020, the museum closed permanently and the collection was moved to the Cedarburg History Museum where it will be preserved and displayed in the broader context of the region's history. The museum's prior home will be sold. [8] [9]
