Mona Shourie Kapoor (3 February 1964 – 25 March 2012) was an Indian television producer, film producer, and entrepreneur. She was the daughter of Sattee Shourie and first wife of Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and also the mother of actor Arjun Kapoor .
She has one elder sister, actress Janhvi Kapoor [7] and two half siblings, actor Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor from her father's first marriage to producer Mona Shourie. Her cousins include actors Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah. Kapoor lost her mother at age 17, when Sridevi was found dead of an accidental drowning in Dubai. [8] [9]
Kapoor is the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita, she is the sister of actors Sonam Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor, granddaughter of filmmaker Surinder Kapoor, niece of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and his wives, the late producer Mona Shourie Kapoor and the late actress Sridevi, and actor Sanjay Kapoor.
