The way I've seen most people do this stuff (not a big fan of piston doors, sorry) is make pistons push sand from the side of the door. Then, the sand falls and gets retracted into a storage roo For closing, the sand first gets "inchwormed" back up to the door space. Then, the fences get pushed back in from pistons on the other side of the door.
Minecraft: Eearslya Member Details If by "strongest" you mean, "most resistant to explosions", then yes, cobblestone is tied with stone, diamond, iron, gold, and brick blocks, plus a few others.
Hey, don't post here very much but I'm having a piston glitch where the arm of the pistons is getting stuck in the 'out' position. I've tried several different configurations to power them and each time they get stuck unless i use a signal piston instead of a double stack array.
When you place a sticky piston facing upwards (Only upwards) with a redstone piston on top it won't power by itself. Normal, right? If you go and activate the piston with an alternative source it will push the redstone block up. Also normal? If you deactivate your alternative source of redstone power the piston will remain up.
Unending water supply on top of piston, retract, and then extend piston again to stop flow. Both of those set up are 15 long but only 1 block of water wide. And really because I put the jungle tree stumps in between these pistons, these are really just 2 1 wide channels.
I'm trying to make a trap that seals off the room entrance (a piston door) once it's triggered but it opens right back up a second later. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack #2 Jun 20, 2012
Control piston about level with where the final piston retracts to-RS-nor latch - pulse extender type setup. On power off the control piston is powered off once the signal goes through the long line of repeaters. Retracted control piston and retracted stickies -
Hi there, I created a red stone circuit where a line of pistons activate on an infinite loop. I want the pistons to activate automatically (up down, up do...
I can't get this piston to retract. I have powered and unpowered all blocks adjacent to it multiple times; when broken and replaced, the piston powers up again and refuses to retract. This is confirmed to occur no matter what direction the piston is facing.
A 1X10 hole in the ground. I put a Brick block to a sticky piston (which will open the last 3 or 4 blocks beneath), and to a lever that pushes it in and out. Imagine the scenario: A creeper falls in the hole. You pull the lever to allow it to fall 3 or 4 blocks further. Close off the lever to trap him.
