  6. Whelen flash patterns - eLightbars

    elightbars.org/forums/threads/whelen-flash-patterns.91493

Whelen's 2 most effective patterns, based on "on-time"/brightest pulse per flash, are single 75FPM, ans SignalAlert 75 FPM. These 2 provide the longest on time, hence the brightest flash. The NAAFPA specific L31 lights have these 2 pattrns only. I tend to use the SignalAlert because it uses the combination of rapid pulse and long on pulse.

    elightbars.org/forums/threads/whelen-liberty-cruise-lights-flicker-question.94838

If the battery power makes them work right and the running vehicle causes a flicker then the circuit they are on is "noisy" or "dirty" power. You can either get a filter (usually for radios and medical equipment), fix the alternator, or trip a relay from the marker light source but power it from a "clean" source.

  11. Whelen Vertex Phase1/Phase2 Question - Snow Plowing Forum

    www.plowsite.com/threads/whelen-vertex-phase1-phase2-question.89414

DS phase 1 of Pattern 1. PS phase 2 of Pattern 1. Now you link the sync wire together ( I think there is one with vertex) And you can then wire both lights pattern selection wire to a mommentary switch assuming you want to change patterns later on. Now basically 1 light is locked into phase 1, and the other phase 2 when ever you change patterns.
