"Your Decision" is a song by Alice in Chains, featured on their fourth studio album, Black Gives Way to Blue (2009). Written by Jerry Cantrell, who also sings lead vocals on the song, it was released as the second single from the album on November 16, 2009 in the UK, [1] and on December 1, 2009 in the US. [4]

Before the formation of Alice in Chains, Layne Staley, a drummer at the time, [13] [14] landed his first gig as a vocalist when he auditioned to sing for a local glam metal band known as Sleze after receiving some encouragement from his stepbrother Ken Elmer.

Layne Thomas Staley (born Layne Rutherford Staley; August 22, 1967 – April 5, 2002) [2] [3] was an American singer and songwriter who was the original lead vocalist of Alice in Chains, which rose to international fame in the early 1990s as part of Seattle's grunge movement.
