Fontainebleau Resorts, LLC, is a resort-hotel company started in Florida by South Florida real estate developers Turnberry Associates [1] and the Plant family in 2005, after their purchase of the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. In 1988, Donald Soffer sold a 50% interest in the property to Rafael Hotels for $20 million. [1] In 1996, the property underwent a renovation and expansion.
