Bajrangi Bhaijaan (transl. Brother Bajrangi) is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film [4] co-written and directed by Kabir Khan, based on an original story by screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad, and produced by Salman Khan, Rockline Venkatesh and Kabir Khan.
He started his career as an assistant casting director in 2006 with Rang De Basanti. [6] In 2012, he played a cameo in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 2, which also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Manoj Bajpayee. [7] In 2015, he was the casting director for Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijan, starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. [8]

His notable work as a writer includes films like Bobbili Simham (1994), Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012), the Baahubali series, RRR (2022), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Manikarnika (2019) and Mersal (2017).
For its most popular releases including Bajirao Mastani, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Badlapur and Bela Seshe, Eros International collected 18 awards at the Zee Cine Awards held in Mumbai, India on 21 February 2016. [2] The highest-grossing movie of Eros International is Bajrangi Bhaijaan, released on 17 July 2015, it grossed 970.05 Crore worldwide. [3]
He is known for his performance in Thappad (2020), Kabir Singh (2019), Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016) and in the Amazon Prime Video original series Bandish Bandits (2020) Directed by Anand Tiwari. In April 2021, he joined the cast of Sony Entertainment Television show Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye (2021).
Bajirao Mastani led the ceremony with 8 nominations, followed by Bajrangi Bhaijaan with 7 nominations and Piku with 6 nominations. Bajirao Mastani won 13 awards, including Best Director (for Sanjay Leela Bhansali), Best Actor (for Ranveer Singh), and Best Supporting Actress (for Priyanka Chopra), thus becoming the most-awarded film at the ceremony.

Sarwar started his career with renowned directors M K Raina and Bapi Bose in Delhi. He was part of three National School of Drama workshops. He moved to Mumbai permanently in late 2014, before being cast in two high-profile films, Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and Phantom (2015).
