The third season of the Date A Live anime series, titled Date A Live III, [1] was produced by J.C.Staff and directed by Keitaro Motonaga. Like the rest of the series, it follows the adventures of Shido Itsuka and the Spirits, supernatural female entities that have fallen in love with him.
The second season was produced by Production IMS, [2] which ran from April 12 to June 14, 2014, [3] covering volumes 5 to 7 of the light novel. The third season was produced by J.C.Staff, which ran from January 11 to March 29, 2019, [4] [5] covering volumes 8 to 12 of the light novel.
An original anime film, Date A Live: Mayuri Judgement, was released in August 2015. A spin-off light novel series, Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet, began publication in March 2017. A third season by J.C.Staff aired between January and March 2019. A fourth season by Geek Toys aired from April to June 2022.

Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet began serialization as a light novel on March 18, 2017 under Fujimi Shobo's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. The series is written by Yuichiro Higashide and illustrated by NOCO, with Kōshi Tachibana as the supervisor. To date, eight volumes have been released in Japan.
A manga adaption of Date A Live with illustrations by Ringo began on April 16, 2012. Due to Ringo having health problems, the manga was cancelled after 6 chapters. [48] The adaptation ended covering only a part of Shido's first date with Tohka.
