Zaldivar played high school basketball for the Adamson Baby Falcons. [1] He was a center of the Adamson Soaring Falcons of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), with Jerom Lastimosa playing the point. [2] [3] In May 2022, the Magnolia Hotshots drafted Zaldivar 12th overall.
Fermin served as head coach of the Adamson Soaring Falcons in an interim basis in 2015. [3] [4] [5] He woul later named head coach for the Adamson women's team from 2016 to 2017, [3] [6] [7] and later with the Baby Falcons juniors' team. [1] He steered the Baby Falcons into championship in 2023. [8]
