The Diamond Arm (Russian: Бриллиантовая рука Brilliantovaya ruka) is a Soviet crime comedy film made by Mosfilm and first released in 1969. The film was directed by director Leonid Gaidai and starred several famous Soviet actors, including Yuri Nikulin, Andrei Mironov, Anatoli Papanov, Nonna Mordyukova and Svetlana Svetlichnaya.
Andrey Maksimov as "Zhyoltyy" (Russian: Жёлтый), leader of the "Dom Byta" gang. Vladimir Vinogradov as a video salon owner. Natalia Potapova as Flyura Gabdulovna (Russian: Флюра Габдуловна), English teacher and deputy head teacher of the school. Olga Lapshina as Nina, Natasha's aunt and Zhyoltyy's mother.
The film takes place in Moscow in 1902, when director Konstantin Stanislavsky is looking for inspiration to stage a new play and, together with Vladimir Gilyarovsky, a connoisseur of the capital's slums, goes to the criminal Khitrovka and gets involved in the investigation into the murder of a local resident with a dark past.

Brigada (Russian: Бригада), also known as Law of the Lawless, is a Russian 15-episode crime television miniseries that debuted in 2002. It became very popular in Russia and ex-Soviet countries as well as Eastern Europe, but received criticism for positive portrayal of criminals and aestheticization of violence.
