In 1996, ROIR reissued the original album on CD, featuring a hidden bonus track, followed by an on LP version the following year. [nb 4] Bad Brains regained the rights to the album from ROIR in 2020, and reissued the album on vinyl, CD, and digital outlets on their own Bad Brains Records imprint via a pressing and distribution with ORG Music.
A short Bad Brains tour of Australia planned for 2010 was cancelled for health reasons. [39] Bad Brains announced the recording of another new album in 2011. As Bad Brains broke up after the release of Rock for Light, it was the band's last album for three years. This was the first of several such break-ups during their career. The original mix was only available on the out-of-print PVC Records version and 1987 CD-versions [2] until 2021. [3]
