The Justice League, or Justice League of America (JLA), is a group of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics.The team first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #28 (March 1960).
DC Comics had the first fictional universe of superheroes, with the Justice Society of America forming in the Golden Age of Comic Books in the 1940s. This shared continuity became increasingly complex with multiple worlds, including a similar team of all-star superheroes formed in the 1960s named the Justice League of America, debuting in The Brave and the Bold Volume 1 #28.
