The Hummer EV is produced at GM's Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly (also referred to as Factory Zero) plant in Michigan. Production of the Hummer EV Truck commenced on November 17, 2021, while the Hummer EV SUV started production on January 30, 2023. In October 2020, GM invested $2.2 billion in the plant for the production of these electric vehicles.
