The Nepal Railway Company Ltd. (in short Nepal Railway), reporting mark: NRW / ने. रे) is a state-owned company under Department of Railways (DORW) which operates passenger train services in Nepal. [1] It is the only train service provider in the country.
The second railway in the country was the Nepal Janakpur–Jainagar Railway (NJJR), a 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge railway, built by the British in 1937, during the Rana period. This 28-mile-long (45 km) track was built to carry timber from the then heavily forested areas of Janakpur in the Kingdom of Nepal to Jainagar in British India. [ 6 ]

Inarwa railway station (NP-INRWA) is a station located on Jaynagar-Kurtha-Bardibas Rail Line project in Nepal. The station falls inside Janaknandini Rural Municipality of Dhanusha District in Madhesh Province. [1] As Inarwa is the first railway station on this route, there has been built a custome check point with the station. [2]
