Goliad State Park and Historic Site is a 188.3 acres (76 ha) state park located along the San Antonio River on the southern edge of Goliad, Texas. [3] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (#01000258) on March 12, 2001.
Among these, either among individual properties or contained within districts, are two State Historic Sites, four State Antiquities Landmarks, and numerous Recorded Texas Historic Landmarks. This National Park Service list is complete through NPS recent listings posted November 29, 2024.

It became the center of a community that developed as the modern-day city of Goliad, Texas, United States. The current location dates to 1747. During the Texas Revolution, the presidio was the site of the Battle of Goliad in October 1835, and the Goliad massacre in March 1836.
The mission ruins became part of the newly created Goliad State Park in 1931. In 1933, the Civil Works Administration began reconstruction of the stone chapel and granary following drawings from the National Park Service and San Antonio architect Atlee Ayres.
