The men's long jump at the 2023 World Athletics Championships was held at the National Athletics Centre in Budapest on 23 and 24 August 2023. The winning margin was 2 cm which is the narrowest winning margin in the men's long jump at these championships.
Thinking she had fouled, Vuleta walked to the stands in frustration, but the jump was called good and measured at 7.14 m (23 ft 5 in). With her final attempt Alina Rotaru-Kottmann jumped 6.88m to leapfrog into bronze.
