Joseph Lawende (9 February 1847 – 9 January 1925) was a Polish-born British cigarette salesman who is believed to have witnessed serial killer Jack the Ripper in the company of his fourth victim, Catherine Eddowes, approximately nine minutes before the discovery of her body on 30 September 1888.
The project started with the four Proggy typefaces authored by Tristan Grimmer: Proggy Clean, Square, Small, and Tiny, circa 2004.
