Clinch River State Park is a river-based state park in Tazewell, Russell, Wise, and Scott counties in Southwest Virginia. It was dedicated by Gov. Ralph Northam on 16 June 2021 as the 41st park in the Virginia State Park system. The park preserves some of the most scenic and ecologically diverse parts of the Clinch River.

Ancil Hoffman Park is a major 396-acre (1.60 km 2) park located in Carmichael, California, accessible by taking the Watt Avenue exit off Highway 50. [4] Named after a Sacramento County Supervisor and manager to the famous boxer Max Baer, the park has many ancient oaks and is bordered on two sides by the American River.
A county spokesman said Sacramento County Regional Parks had advised against the concert, citing the conditions of the park following flooding conditions on the grounds because of strong winter rains.

The area surrounding the park was operated by Sacramento County. In the early 1970s, the pond was expanded into a lake to act as backup emergency cooling water supply. In 1992, Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) took over responsibility for operating the park. [1] In 1993, they began holding a trout fishing competition. [2]
