The Watsons Bay ferry service, officially known as F9 Watsons Bay, is a ferry service in Sydney, Australia. Part of the Sydney Ferries network, it is operated by Transdev Sydney Ferries from Circular Quay to Rose Bay and Watsons Bay .
Today it is served by Sydney Ferries Watsons Bay services operated by Emerald-class ferries. [4] Watsons Bay wharf is also served by Captain Cook Cruises peak hour commuter services to Circular Quay. [5] At other times the Captain Cook Cruises Hop On/Hop Off Sydney Harbour ferry service operates via Watsons Bay wharf. [6]
In November 2017 the service was restructured. Services to Garden Island, Darling Point and Double Bay became the F7 Double Bay service, while the Watsons Bay service was merged with the F4 Pyrmont Bay service to become the F4 Cross Harbour service. The Circular Quay ferry wharf complex consists of five double-sided wharves at 90 degrees to the shoreline, numbered 2 to 6. Wharves 3 to 5 are used exclusively by Sydney Ferries, wharf 2 west is used by Sydney Ferries, wharf 2 east is used by Manly Fast Ferry by while wharf 6 is used by other operators including Captain Cook Cruises.
