The Ridge Historic District is a residential historic district in the Beverly and Morgan Park neighborhoods of Chicago, Illinois. As its name suggests, the district is centered on a ridge , making it one of the few areas of high ground in the generally flat city.

The Chicago Park Boulevard System Historic District, which encompasses most of the Boulevard System, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. [14] The approved listing, stretches approximately 26 miles, including 8 parks, 19 boulevards, and 6 squares, as well as adjacent properties that preserve structures built from the 19th century to the 1940s.

Park Ridge is a city in Cook County, Illinois, United States, and a suburb of Chicago. Per the 2020 census , the population was 39,656. [ 3 ] It is located 15 miles (24 km) north of downtown Chicago.
Norridge began as an 80-acre (320,000 m 2) subdivision that ran from Ozanam Avenue in the west to Olcott Avenue in the east and from Irving Park Road in the south to Montrose Avenue in the north. In 1948, a local improvement association incorporated Norridge as a village, stymieing an effort by Chicago to annex the area.
