    With this in mind, I have been heating entirely with wood for the past 10 years. I recently scored some really large, green oak logs that were beyond my ability to split with a maul. I decided to finally bite the bullet and purchase a log splitter. I chose the Campion 27 from home depot for $1349.

    Hardwood Heat are Hamer Hot Ones. From What you listed I would say in order. 1 Hardwood Heat. 2 Greene Team. 3 Stove Chow. Natures Own. 4 Pres to logs. With the M55 cast you can burn any of these without an issue. And You might want to do a couple bag burn of each to see how they do for you.

    I've been contemplating it's replacement for nearly 2 years, finally pulled the trigger. Made in good old Virginia USA. England stove works 28-3500 wood furnace from Home Depot, complete with 10% Veteran discount. This thing is 570 lbs of 1/4" steel and has many great reviews, most of which I learned about here on Hearth.com.

It will be excellent on the hinges and OK for the latch but it goes for 4-5 fires. One thing to remember about anti seize is you only look at the can and it will be every where.
