The dates for the two sets of tests were 2/10/2022 then 3/10/2022. More information about the tests used 2/10/2022 HSV Type 1 IgG [result 2.35] and HSV-2 Type Spec Ab, IgG w/Rflx 163033-LC [result .94 with negative supplemental] then 3/10/2022 was just HSV-2 Type Spec Ab, IgG w/Rflx 163033-LC [result 2.82 with negative supplemental].

As for your mouth question, HSV-2 is rarely transmitted orally (only 2% of all oral herpes cases are HSV-2), so it's a very low probability that she would have transmitted it to you via her mouth to your genitals.

A high IgG value for HSV1 can often cause a false positive for HSV2. There is some cross reactivity. So getting the values would give you some information. If your HSV1 is high and HSV2 is in that equivocal range there's a good chance it's a false positive.

My test came back positive at a 1.10 index for HSV2. This was on Jan 4th. Still no symptoms and a frequent, casual partner of mine test and it just came back negative. I’m reading that its very possible that mine is a false positive because it’s so low. I’m going to get retested.
