They are labeled as down throws and measure 70"x60". The ones a got are definitely not queen sized. They are light and awesome for $20. I picked up a few to maybe try making a under quilt and maybe try to modify one into some type of 50* quilt. They also work good on the couch at home.

Or the XWide Convert Apex is pretty wide when you unzip it and use it like a blanket (64-70 inches at the shoulder, 40 at the foot). Zenbivy makes double-wide sheets for the bottom . Then all you would need is a rectangular synthetic bag, or even a synthetic blanket for the top.
Don't worry about your down jacket. Treat it with care (don't scrape it on stuff and don't puncture it) but stuff it up as much as you want. I just finished my down blanket. The measurements are roughly like the Nunatak Arc edge. The shell material is Pertex microlight.Fill is 200 gr. of premium down, overall weight is 400 gr including a Spinsack. The I constructed it like some down comforters for indoor use- I quilted it.

Excellent review! While updating, please remember to add: 1) the Apex quilts from As Tucas, in Spain. They make several different kinds, including a wearable one in poncho style. 2) Primaloft quilts from Locus Gear in Japan. Apex is an interesting insulation material.
