It's probably reasonable that the main use case of these is for sports use or traveling, when the main use is audio or maybe Netflix on your phone, so the extra work of adding low-latency BT is perhaps not justified. I doubt many people watch their 50" tV on earbuds. Philips 48OLED806 + Sony HT-G700 Soundbar.

    www.avforums.com/threads/bluetooth-headphones-and-audio-delay-watching-video...

Mar 31, 2011. #3. I bought the 210 'phones. Used with my LG TV's inbuilt bluetooth, there is a big audio delay certainly close to 1.0s. I suspect this may typical of 2.1 standard bluetooth, rather than a problem with the TV. If this is the case, I would go far as to say that 2.1 standard bluetooth is inadequate for TV/movie viewing with ...

Dec 16, 2023. #1. I need some wireless headphones for my dad so he can watch his tv in peace without my mum complaining about the noise. Long story unfortunately but he now spends a lot of time watching TV after some utter (hit and run) tw@t knocked him off a motorbike and paralysed him. Plus he's starting to go just that little bit deaf so ...

Jan 9, 2021. #1. Hi All. This is kind of on behalf of my father who is hard of hearing. He bought the Sony WH-1000XM4 BT Headphones, basically so he can put them on when watching the TV. I have not tested them with the E6, C6 or B6, but assume they will also work. To set-up the Bluetooth headphones go to "settings" "sound out" "LG Sound Sync/Bluetooth" and then "device selection". After the LG TV is set-up just follow the Bluetooth headphone instructions to finish the set-up. BTW, they sound great!

Larkone is right, sound quality on bluetooth isn't good. Something like Sennheiser RS160 or RS170 is a good buy. It uses Kleer wireless and the sound quality is much better than Bluetooth. It can range up to 80m. These are only stereo headphones unfortunately.

    www.avforums.com/threads/bose-quietcomfort-ultra-audio-lag-with-bluetooth...

Oct 22, 2023. #2. As far as I can see, the Bose earbuds don't do aptx low latency, they use aptx adaptive, There are a number of Bluetooth transmitters that support aptx adaptive on Amazon, you would think they would work together. I know from experience, that Bluetooth can be a bit flaky, and some transmitters work well, and some don't.
