    forums.imore.com/threads/can-i-remote-wipe-my-iphone-in...

Hi, I need to remotely wipe an iPhone (11 pro max) that is currently in airplane mode. Of course at face value, this appears to be impossible but I’ve read a couple of answers to threads stating that it IS possible & an iPhone CAN be wiped if it’s not online. Can anyone help with this? Manually, from the device, yes. Remotely, no. Sorry.

I have not put the Watch in Airplane Mode, though. It's just out of Bluetooth range from the iPhone at the gym, but I think this is the same situation as being in Airplane Mode.

Apple Watch can’t configure new Wi-Fi networks on its own, but it can connect to Wi-Fi networks you’ve set up on the paired iPhone. When I turn the phone (airplane mode off), the red dot disappears. But it returns once I turn airplane mode back on. And I've checked my voicemail and deleted all messages...the red dot still appears when airplane mode is on. I tried a soft and hard reset and even did a restore with itunes.
