Ignorance Is Bliss is the fifth studio album by the punk rock band Face to Face. The album was released in 1999, and was a musical and lyrical departure from the pop punk or skate punk influenced music found on previous albums and EPs.

"Ignorance Is Bliss" was written by Jellyfish frontman Andy Sturmer and his then-girlfriend Sarah Wirt [4] while the group were making their second album Spilt Milk (1993). [5] In the liner notes to the 2002 compilation Fan Club , Sturmer described the song as a "mini opera" that was "a lot of fun to write."
