Hey all, I have a goodman gmnt060-3b furnace, original to a home built in 2004; around this time last year, the inducer motor of said furnace went dead, and the small metal fan blade worked itself independent of the turbine; i was okay with it as the unit was 10 years old, and well, sometimes, things happen.
Last year I had a new Goodman furnace (95%) and Goodman AC (16 Seer) install in my house along with a Venstar T5800 thermostat. LONG story short: The AC works fine and as expected. The furnace is acting up. I will set the venstar to heat to 70 degrees. The furnace kicks in, heats up to 70, then turns off.

The way your furnace works, you must first have proper vacuum to pull in the vacuum switch. Then the igniter will glow. Next, the gas will turn on and the burners should light. After you clear the nipple, check for a larger hose off of the inducer housing. if you have one, check it for water (condensate) backup.
1-stat calls for heat. 2-inducer motor begins to spin creating vacuam which closes pressure switch next to inducer motor. 3-pressure switch sends signal to board which in turn heats hot surface igniter. 4-once igniter lights/heats up gas valve opens to light burners.
