Kara Goucher(born Kara Grgas[2]on July 9, 1978) is an American long-distance runner. She was the 10,000 meterssilver medalist at the 2007 World Championships in Athleticsand represented the USA at the 2008 Beijing Olympicsand 2012 London Olympics.[3] She made her marathondebut in 2008 and finished third the following year at the Boston Marathon.
