Adamsville is a city in Hardin and McNairy counties, Tennessee, United States. The population was 2,207 at the 2010 census. Adamsville is named after George D. Adams, who operated an inn and stagecoach stop in the 1840s. [7] Adamsville's nickname is the "Biggest Little Town in Tennessee" and was the home of Sheriff Buford Pusser.
McNairy County is a county located in the U.S. state of Tennessee.As of the 2020 census, the population was 25,866. [3] The county seat and largest city is Selmer. [4] McNairy County is located along Tennessee's border with the state of Mississippi.
The Coon Creek Science Center is a science center and fossil finding site at 2985 Hardin Graveyard Road in Adamsville, McNairy County, Tennessee, US. The science center is situated on a 232 acres (94 ha) property on one of the most important fossil sites in North America . [ 1 ]

Boomsday was an annual fireworks celebration that took place on Labor Day weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee. It was the largest Labor Day firework show in the United States, [1] and was considered a top attraction in the region.
