Can you please drop links to blogs and custom content pages for good Sims3 skin mods? I love the Sims 3 so much but I am tired of my plastic, doughy looking sims and I want a better texture. I know some people like those ultra-real looking skins but I like that softer look, so if you found some more 'cartoony' style skins, I'd love to see them.

cc skin & overlays recommendations Hello everyone, With Sulani around, I really want to make detailed Sims I've never made before, in part because I'm a huge fan of Polynesian culture.
My go to skin cc used to be the Pinguin Skinblend overlay by Infinityonsims but got tired of it bc it makes elderly sims look like young/adult sims. So now I use the skin overlay by Windflower, which gives elders visibles wrinkles and lets you see more skin details. (Yeah I'm a maxismatch kind of person even tho I used only alpha cc in the past)
I'm unsure how to go about this, but I've been messing around with Sims 3 cc and used a default skin overlay for a long time. Finally, I wanted to try something new, so I got rid of the default skin and downloaded some nondefault skin overlays.
Most custom skins seem to be designed for a smaller cup size, which can look weird when trying to create a curvy sim with a larger chest. Do you know of any realistic skin that has more (boobs pushed together kinda) cleavage? Edit: Also interested in the opposite, if you know any skins with little to no boob-detail, for our flat-chested sims!
You can even fuse make-up elements like a nose mask or blush to a default skin, and add a skin overlay to complete the effect on eyes, teeth and lips. You can get pretty dramatic effects this way as repainting lights and shadows on skin can give the illusion of a completely different face shape without touching a single slider.
Alternatives, if no one can help you: Pralinesims Cleavage Overlay Collection, Heihu's Cleavage Overlays, and RemusSirion's Cleavage Detail. Luumia's Vanilla Default Skin also comes with overlays but I am not sure how well they work on their own.
It makes them look smoother or adds details or whatever. But what are non- default skins? Can I get a new default skin, such as the nectarine skin blend, and also get a non- default skin, like the noodles berry skins? I would prefer for new skin tones to show up in the actual skin tone section, and not in skin details.
Skin overlays my two main ones are: VIIAVI-Papillion Skin Details, Oasisgoth's Dna skin redux (the rest I find on MM CC find sites that I sometimes like and sometimes don't.)
