I have a new 2020 CT5 that now has 3000 miles on it. In town, driving 37-44 mph, the steering wheel vibrates, sometimes harder than others.....up to 1/2 in. in both directions. It does not happen all the time, just intermittently. I have left the car at the dealer for a total of 3 weeks over the last 8 weeks.

What is your CT4-V Blackwing production number. I have read that the initial CT4-V Blackwing production was limited to 250 units and the last digits of the VIN is inscribed on the steering wheel. I have number 202. I can't find much in the way of build numbers on the web. Is there any total production quantity information available at this time.
The 472 in 1968 and 1969 was rated at 375 HP @ 4400, which is likely above valve float on those stock springs. And the listed torque is 525 ft lb @ 3000 RPM. The torque numbers are likely about right. Compression ratio is listed as 10.5:1 for those years, but dropped to 8.5:1 in '71 & '72.
99.9% odds that Ranger and JimD are correct. The carbon build up on O2 sensors will burn off when the motor is running properly. Many oxygen sensors are replaced unnecessarily. You can test the duct by spraying starting fluid around and under the plenum while the car is at idle. If the idle increases there is a leak.

I purchased a brand new 2019 Escalade in May. Over the past few weeks I noticed that when I push the gas petal I hear a whining/high pitch noise when accelerating. It only does it for a few seconds but it’s every time I push the petal. The noise is almost like air leaking out, high pitch, coming from the rear possibly rear passenger side.
I realize the numbers tell the truth, but the new XT4 is very peppy, and nimble and fun to drive, and the fact that it is a little slower than the BMW in a full out drag, does not minimize the fact that it is totally adequate and impressive.
