Ashanti's Christmas is the third studio album by American singer Ashanti, released on November 18, 2003, by The Inc. Records. Chiefly produced by label head Irv Gotti , it is a follow-up to her second studio album, Chapter II (2003) and her first Christmas album .
Originally released to iTunes on December 3, 2013, as a five-song EP, the collection featured recordings from the Lifetime original movie Christmas In The City. [1] On October 27, 2014, it was re-issued as a full-length album in the form of a Deluxe Edition to digital retailers [ 2 ] [ 3 ] with three newly recorded songs.
After her successful second studio album Chapter II (2003), which topped the Billboard 200 chart and was certified Platinum, spawned two hit singles, "Rock wit U (Awww Baby)" and "Rain on Me", [1] and earned her three Grammy nominations, [2] Ashanti released her first Christmas album called Ashanti's Christmas in 2003.

She is most famous for her eponymous debut album Ashanti which featured the hit song "Foolish", and sold 503,000 copies in its first week of release in the US in April 2002, a record-breaking feat. It was the highest first week sales for a female artist's debut ever.
