Mi-Jack Products is an American manufacturer of industrial, intermodal, and port cranes based in Hazel Crest, Illinois. [1] It manufactures Travelift and Translift rubber-tired gantry cranes , as well as various other container handling systems [ 2 ] and is a part of the Lanco Group of Companies.
In 1973, Lanigan founded a division of his father's company, Mi-Jack Construction Equipment, in Indianapolis. He returned to his hometown of Chicago, Illinois in 1989 to become the company's president. Mi-Jack produces rubber-tire gantry cranes, and in 1992, began sponsoring cars in CART and the Indianapolis 500. [1]
