Well to save from the stories, it seems like my headlights have been going on and off for days, even when the car is off. Checked with the headlight switch in all positions. Removed the headlight switch. Removed the light sensor. Reset my factory setting to off for headlight delay and headlight on when unlock.
They have been outstanding. Even though I installed new headlight housings and Sylvania Silver Star bulbs in my truck several months ago, the headlights still aren't that good and never have been. The 2002 thu 2004 Dodge truck headlights just weren't designed well to begin with and Daimler-Chrysler redesigned them in 2005 to be much larger.
Hemi 5.7. Best is going to be opinion based, I run the 35w Morimoto HID kit in my 2015 projectors, good light output and I'm happy with it. If I had the money, I'd be running Morimoto XB led headlights. That's my opinion of best. Dec 27, 2022.
3. Ram Year. 2003 Ram 1500 Quad Cab. Engine. Hemi 5.7. It finally warmed up enough to work outside. Traced down the headlight wires and found my truck has Xenon 35 Watt HID lights. Checked all the connections and found corrosion. Went to work cleaning and putting dielectric grease on them.

2004. Engine. 5.7. Odd thing, when the headlights are on, sometimes the right turn signal flashes fast, almost like a flickering. And the bulb out message flickers. I put new bulbs is the front and rear and thought I had it licked, but then it started doing it again, maybe half the time.
I couldn't even find Morimotos for less than $1,300. The install was simple. No wires to cut. The stock headlight plug connects to the wire harness on the new headlights. The turn signal bulb socket is installed into the new housing the same way as stock but you snap a wire connector into the socket.
Ive got an 07 ram 2500 with hemi and I also had drivers side headlight and blinker go out. If I switch to high beams both sides go dark. Ive check the tipm for corrosion and nothing. Checked combo switches and they good. Dealer tells me $1600 min for new tipm and I can't use another from different vehicle.
