There have been no circumstantial changes since the final game played on the last day of 2021. I am still using Windows 10. Up to now, there have never been any issues.

Sign into your Microsoft Account, go to the Microsoft Store app, choose the Settings three dots at top right, then Library where your purchased software resides. Find the game you bought and reinstall it - as must be done after every reinstall of Windows.
I have followed several threads about this, but found no answer. I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and I want the simple, classic Solitaire I played on Windows 7. Someone keeps posting that the new X-box games are better--not to me they aren't. This is not an answer to the question but an argument that the question isn't valid.
If you are running the latest version of Windows 10, simply find the Program shortcut in the Program Menu or the Tile in the Tile area, left click and drag that to your desktop. You should see it turn into a "Link", release the left mouse button and that should do it. Restart your PC and try again if that does't work.
