Singrauli district (Hindi pronunciation: [sɪŋg.ɾɔːliː]) is one of the districts in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is a significant hub for energy production due to its vast coal reserves and power plants, earning it the title "Energy Capital of India."

Singrauli is a city in Singrauli district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and Commissionaire of Rewa. It lies about 26 kilometres (16 mi) from the district headquarters of Waidhan . Khairwar (tribe) are native of Singrauli (M.P.) . who have been living here from many decades.
Sidhi district is located on the Northeastern Boundary of the state between 22,475 and 24.4210 North Latitude and 81:1840 and 824830 East longitude. The district has Singrauli district in the north-east, and Uttar Pradesh Koriya district of Chhattisgarh on the east, and Rewa district on the west.

As of 2024, the division consists of districts of Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli, Mauganj and Maihar. The division forms a part of the Baghelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. The divisional headquarters in the Kothi Compound area of Rewa.
