So the man on the Burt's Bees logo that promises "Earth-friendly natural personal care products" ended up with 37 acres in Maine, and an undisclosed sum of money. And he's not complaining.
Hancock Fabrics was a specialty retailer of crafts and fabrics based in Baldwyn, Mississippi, United States. Hancock Fabrics operated as many as 266 stores in 37 states under the Hancock Fabrics name. Hancock Fabrics was established by the late Lawrence D. Hancock. On July 27, 2016, all of the stores were closed, marking the end of the chain.
In fact, according to the Burt's Bees website, the products, which were retailing for $11.99, have already sold out — though there is an option to join a wait list.
