Saints Peter and Paul School is a parochial, Roman Catholic, co-educational, day school in Easton, Maryland. It is located in the heart of the Eastern Shore. The school serves an area of seven counties. The High School shares a campus with the Elementary School but has its own principal, staff and faculty.
Saints Peter & Paul School was established in 1924 as an elementary school. The high school program began in 1946 with its first class graduating in 1950. It serves children from pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
St Peter and St Paul's Catholic Voluntary Academy (formerly St Peter and St Paul's Catholic High School) is a coeducational Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form with academy status, situated in Lincoln, England. It is one of only two Catholic high schools in Lincolnshire and the smallest secondary school in Lincoln.
It was initially a mixed sex secondary modern school but from 1959 education was provided separately for boys and girls. It returned to being a mixed sex school in 1972. It later merged with the neighbouring Sts John Fisher and Thomas More Roman Catholic High School to form Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic High School.
The school was to use all three buildings, with Peter and Paul having preschool, St. Adalbert housing grades 1–4, and St. Patrick for grades 5–8. [23] By 1998 the St. Patrick building served as the upper school, [ 32 ] [ 41 ] another building was used as a lower school, and a separate building was used for the office of its director. [ 32 ]
The school opened on September 15, 1941, with an enrollment of 300 students in grades 1 through 9. Reverend Father Robert P. Brennan, the Pastor, obtained the services of eight Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine, Florida, to staff the school with Sister St. John, S.S.J., as its first principal. The school added a grade each year.
