Greene County is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 35,954. [1] Its county seat is Waynesburg. [2] Greene County was created on February 9, 1796, from part of Washington County and named for General Nathanael Greene. The county is part of the Southwest Pennsylvania region of the state.

Pamela M. Snyder (born November 20, 1955) is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, serving from 2013 until 2022. [2] She represented the 50th district. Snyder previously served for nine years as a Greene County Commissioner.
The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania is one of two Pennsylvania intermediate appellate courts.
