Dave Carpenter (November 4, 1959 – June 24, 2008) was an American bass player. During his early professional career he played with jazz musicians Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson and Woody Herman.
James William Price (born July 25, 1945) is an American session musician. He toured extensively with The Rolling Stones from 1970 until 1973, including their 1972 American Tour, and appears on the albums Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main St. and Goats Head Soup. Price always performed music on her own terms, [7] usually only on Tuesday nights, until June 2007, at the Continental Club in Austin. [2] Price relocated to San Diego in June 2007, but two years later, in June 2009, she moved back to Austin.
Price was born in Chicago and raised in Florida and Valparaiso, Indiana. [1] After graduating from Valparaiso High School in 1959, he studied music education at Northwestern University, continued his education in composition at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and received a master's degree in jazz studies from the University of Southern California.
