The most recent analysis was conducted in 2000. In 1950, Soap Lake became a city of Third Class. The population in 1952 was 2051, which grew to 2580 in 1955.
Soap Lake is a meromictic soda lake in the town of Soap Lake, Washington formed by the Missoula Floods at the foot of the Grand Coulee.
