[2] Its county seat is Medina, and its largest city is Brunswick. [3] The county was created in 1812 and later organized in 1818. [4] It is named for Medina, Saudi Arabia. [5]
Brunswick Hills Township was originally called Brunswick Township, and under the latter name was established in 1818. [4] It was renamed Brunswick Hills Township in 1960. It is the only Brunswick Hills Township statewide.
