Mount Iriga, also known as Mount Asog, is a dormant stratovolcano in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Philippines. It is a stratovolcano about a kilometer from Lake Buhi. It rises 1,196 m (3,924 ft) with a base diameter of 10 kilometres (6.2 mi). [1] [2] It has a large crater formed due to a debris avalanche.

It is spoken to the east of Iriga City up to the shores of Lake Buhi. The language is largely intelligible with Mount Iraya Agta on the other side of the lake. The Rinconada Agta live primarily in forests near rural barangays of Buhi , Iriga (including a settlement in the Ilian area), and Baao in Camarines Sur (Lobel 2013:68).
Mount Iraya Agta is a Bikol language spoken by a semi-nomadic hunter-gatherer Agta (Negrito) people of the Philippines, east of Lake Buhi in Luzon. It is mutually intelligible with Mount Iriga Agta on the other side of the lake. As of 2013, the Mount Iraya Agta language may be extinct. [2]
