She was promoted by Coach Cai Bin from the Jiangsu U23 team to Jiangsu Women's Volleyball Club in the 2015-2016 season. Following a successful debut season at the Chinese Volleyball League, she was selected by Coach Lang Ping for the national team in 2016. She represented China at the 2016 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal.
Thailand, China, and Japan, the top three teams of the tournament qualified for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship as the AVC representatives. Eventually Thailand was chosen as hosts of the World Championship on 30 August 2024, and their qualification spot via Asian Championship was passed down to fourth-placed Vietnam.
As of 2022, 19 editions of the women's Volleyball World Championship have been played: 10 went to European teams, five to Asian teams (three times to Japan and two times to China), and four to American teams (three times to Cuba and once to United States).

The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship was the 16th edition of the competition. It was held in Hangzhou, China. The tournament took place from 13 to 17 December 2023. [1] [2] Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Istanbul won their third title after defeating their archrivals VakıfBank Spor Kulubu in five-set match (3–2) in the final. [3]
