McCluer High School, located at 1896 South New Florissant Road, Florissant, Missouri, the school opened in 1957 as a junior high school as a part of the Ferguson Florissant School District. In 1962, when Ferguson High School closed, its students moved to McCluer; now McCluer Senior High School. McCluer's mascot is the Comets.
McCluer North High School (founded 1971) is a public school in Florissant, Missouri, United States in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The McCluer North campus is centrally located in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Located in a residential area, the campus is bounded by Waterford Drive, St. Catherine and Parker Road.

Missouri state high school football championships have been sanctioned by the Missouri State High School Activities Association since 1968. [ 1 ] There have been seven ties for state champion, all before 2002, when the organization changed its classification system and began to allow championship games to be decided in overtime .
