Barbara. Depending on your kindle model it should be under settings registration. If you dont find it just go to "My content and devices" ( on the Amazon website My account) the device tab, deregister it from there and simply log back on the device. It should do the trick.

Again , all my books were synching fine, just 2 books I was having issues. Hitting on my Android phone also didnt pop up any message. Once my kindle was off, the Android started to say I was in my last page, like something was stucked in between those 2 devices. Oasis came back synching perfectly the 2 books. Hope this helps someone.
