For Marist's 2023-2024 application cycle. I submitted on 5/6/23, received email confirmation on 5/9/23, and got a call on 5/17/23 saying my application is under review and first round of interviews may be around the end of June!

I interviewed with the Physician Assistant Graduate program at Marist College on Friday, September 30th. I was impressed by the campus and its many paths/ walkways and grassy fields. It reminded me somewhat of the University of California-Berkeley where I completed my undergrad.

I interviewed September 15th and got an acceptance call from the program director September 26th! So it took a little over a week to hear back. I was told I'd get an acceptance packet in the mail within 10 days of the call.
Got an email from Marist on 5/16 saying they got my application and a call on 5/19 saying my application was being forwarded to the admissions committee! I’m stoked! Good luck everyone!
Received my acceptance call today! Best of luck to everyone!! I think Marist does a great job of looking at applications holistically. I did not have the strongest sGPA or the highest amount of PCE but I had a lot of variety in my experiences, a strong personal statement, and I believe very strong LOR's from a PA and a physician I work clinically with, an academic profe
The PA program was removed from the website because they have not received any feedback from the state of NY in regards to their accreditation. The counselor did mention that if they get accredited they will review all applications submitted and notify prospect students, it may be a few more months though!
For Marist College, it says this under licensure "As a result, Marist College cannot determine whether completion of this program would be sufficient to meet all of the licensure or limited permit requirements outside of New York State for the PA occupation."
